  1. hard luck Rafa. Kia kaha ( be strong) and look forward to the London indoors in November. Keep working hard man.

  2. Ah too bad! So wanted you to play again, but know you will be back to play a perfect game again! Strongs!

  3. It’s very clear. After long period without match play he does not feel 100%. Injury almost over but mentally too weak right now. Just like Aussie 2013. He will be back but risks not breaking the major record. Frigging weak era king Roger gets this US open handed to him.

  4. What a load of rubbish, J Beer!!! Since when Rafa’s injuries have been mental?!? Ignore this comment, Rafa, & GOOD LUCK for a speedy recovery! VAAAMOOOSSS RAAAFAAA ALWAYS & FOREVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Adelante!!! Vamooooos Rafa!

  6. So sorry to hear that you are still suffering with your injury. It’s better to see you being fit and healthy than playing when you are in pain. No matter what, you will always have my support and I am sure all your true fans will feel the same. Please take care and hope you make a full recovery <3

  7. Sooo sorry to hear this for you and your fans. Does this mean rafa will compete in London? In November. Get well soon you, mean everything to your fans Xxxx

  8. Rafa, I know that you and your doctors know best when it comes a decision as important as this is. I have every confidence you will return to competition when you are in top form; anything less would be a big mistake. Wishing you all good things in your life, including a complete recovery from what could be a career-ending injury if not properly healed. Como Siempre, Campeon Numero Uno, VAMOS!

  9. i am sooo sooo sad to read this news 😣 but i am more sad knowing the sadness Rafa must be feeling right now not just for his missing the US Open but maybe more so due to the injury … but i know the kind of heart and mind that Rafa possess is full of positivity and like a true warrior, he will rise back and be the passionate fighter that he always is .. you will always have our support and respect … vamos Rafa !

  10. I really feel for Rafa, it must be very hard for Rafa not to compete in USO but what really important is to be healthy. See you in AO 2015 Rafa, meanwhile do continue to stay healthy both emotionally and physically. Love you Rafa!

  14. I am so sorry to hear that Rafa isn’t fully recovered yet. I’ll miss him at the US Open but
it is more important that he regains his stellar form and health. He’ll have many more opportunities to compete and dazzle us. Get well soon, Rafa!

  15. I am very pissed off with this entire injury pattern. Will there ever be a season in the future where Rafa will play all four majors? And why did I already feel that the US Open was a no go, as soon as the injury was there? I think the injury may be mental for a big part.
