Rafael Nadal and his uncles Toni and Miguel made a little girl’s dream come true today in Manacor. They met Cristina Pericás Almendro, who suffers from a syndrome known as brain tissue encephalopathy of Creutzfeldt-Jacob, sporadic form subtype VV1. The disease is progressive and renders a person unable to perform essential functions.
Cristina’s family and supporters were very happy for her and greatful to meet Rafa. They posted on their Facebook page: ¡¡Hoy con Rafa Nadal!! Por fin, se ha hecho realidad uno de los sueños de nuestra princesa. Damos las gracias a todas las personas que han hecho posible nuestro encuentro y, sobre todo, a Rafa Nadal por su humildad y generosidad, así como a sus tíos!!! Gracias también a todos los que nos apoyáis directa e indirectamente. Un beso muy fuerte de parte de Cristina!
