Men’s tennis greats gathered at New York’s Waldorf Astoria on Friday night to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the inception of the ATP ranking system, now sponsored by Emirates Airlines. The event, a gathering of No. 1s sponsored by the ATP Heritage program, was the first of its kind.
Those in attendance included Ilie Nastase, the first world No. 1, Bjorn Borg, Carlos Moya, Stefan Edberg, John McEnroe, Roger Federer, Novak Djokovic, Mats Wilander, Jimmy Connors, Andy Roddick, and our very own Rafael Nadal.
