Rafael Nadal arrived in Cincinnati on Monday, a day after his victory at the Rogers Cup in Montreal. Although appearing on court a little later than his scheduled time, Rafa looked fresh and ready to begin his bid for the Western and Southern Open title. He practiced with Marc Lopez, and according to bystanders, seemed quite animated. Perhaps it was the weather or the looming dark clouds.
Rafa is not scheduled to play Tuesday but will be practicing in the afternoon. Stay tuned for more updates.
